CFGIS is you.
Like any well oiled machine, there must be people behind the scenes who help keep the engine running. Here is your chance to meet the staff of the Regional Planning Council who work hard to make CFGIS all of the great things that it is.
Claudia Paskauskas, the GIS manager for the RPC, is the leading voice of the CFGIS program and its chief organizer. Claudia runs all over Central Florida, literally, in addition to being very involved in the GIS community, she is also a marathon runner. If you need help getting a GIS discussion going, promoting coordination, have a questions about GIS at the management or implementation level, Claudia is the right person to talk to.
Keith Smith, GIS Specialist, is one of our ‘secret weapons’ that enable CFGIS to cover so much ground. Keith is passionate about GIS and one of his specialties is detangling complex processes. Keith is the one to blame for the cutting edge and creative activities seen in our users groups meeting. As a good runner, yes Keith is also a runner – actually a tri-athlete, his endurance is directly related with multi-tasking between doing complex spatial analyses, keeping CFGIS portfolio of activities always fresh, and being a messenger of the importance of collaboration to achieve professional growth. If you don’t know how to get started to resolve a hairy GIS problem, Keith is your guy.
Gina Marchica, GIS Specialist, is the brilliant mind behind majority of the amazing graphical designs seen throughout the CFGIS events and websites. It is her creativity that gives CFGIS its innovative look and feel. Gina is also very detail oriented, helping to make all of the products from CFGIS as near perfection as possible. If you are looking for ideas or have a question about a process, Gina can get you started.
